SYNCHRONIZED SAWING
Special application for sawing sheets of insulation material as it is being produced on an assembly line. An encoder on the conveyor system measures the correct length of part to be cut, and the saw is servo controlled to cut a square edge while the material is moving on the conveyor at a rate of 120 feet/minute. In this application, we are communicating to a master PLC that coordinates operation of the assembly line.
